What You Do

What you do
 
This can be as simple as you'd like.  The boxes to the left are not an uncommon way to present your pictures.  You might want to provide a little extra info so that it can be recorded for prosperity.  Some ideas below.
 
At a minimum, you need to gather your pictures and put them all in one place.  We will pick them up, or you can deliver them, depending upon your preference and location.  We're in Ho-ho-kus, NJ.  (You can ship them if you're out of pick-up range.)
 
You can group them.  For example, you might put all of your spouse's family pictures in one group, your own family in another, and your married pictures in yet another.  We'll label the files accordingly and put them in separate folders on your DVD.
 
You can sort them by date.  You can put them in stacks or boxes or ziplocks, grouped and/or sorted by year, decade, or other meaningful timeframe.  We'll scan them and label them for your future reference.
 
You can provide additional info about the pictures.  We'll include the information in the digital files for permanent reference.  (We'll also pull existing information, including dates, names and locations, from the photos or albums.)
 
Eliminate duplicates and poor images.  This will save you money since you pay per picture.  Don't worry, though, we will do this as best we can even if you don't. 
 
Now you're ready to go!  You can do as little, or as much, as you'd like to organize and identify your pictures.  Just put them in boxes, give us a call, and you'll be on your way to preserving and sharing your precious family images.
